$20,000 Dental Grant from Prince William Humane Society
We are bursting with excitement to announce that the Fredericksburg SPCA Locke Community Medical Center was awarded a $20,000 grant for our new state-of-the-art dental diagnostic equipment! The gratitude is flowing for the Prince William Humane Society, which graciously awarded us with the means to provide our community with affordable dental diagnostics and surgeries! Dental health is so important for the longevity and health of our loved pets, but that often comes with a breath-taking price tag. Our goal is to make dental care for your cats & dogs affordable and accessible.
Appointments and pricing will be available soon, with basic dental cleaning and polishing being the first services to roll out. Surgeries and extractions will be added within the upcoming months. Three excited woofs for Prince William Humane Society for providing the support we needed to “sink our teeth” into dental care! The $20,000 grant has allowed the Fredericksburg SPCA to purchase the equipment needed, with funds also being allocated to subsidize dental work on shelter animals at the SPCA and help low-income residents pay for dental work on their pets.
