Empty the Shelters: Holiday Hope

BISSELL Pet Foundation, a national animal welfare organization dedicated to ending pet homelessness, is bringing holiday hope to homeless pets by prompting a national call for adoption with its Empty the Shelters™ reduced-fee adoption event Dec. 1-17. The Fredericksburg SPCA will participate along with more than 400 shelters in 45 states. To help deserving shelter pets find loving homes, adoption fees for animals 7+ months is reduced to $25. Animals that fit this criteria are eligible to go into adoption trial for up to 7 days, but adoptions must be completed by December 17 (6pm) for the reduced adoption fee.
