Empty the Shelters
On October 4-10, BISSELL Pet Foundation is teaming up with 180+ shelter partners in 35 states to reduce adoption fees and find forever homes for homeless pets. During Empty the Shelters, people have the opportunity to save a life by choosing adoption or fostering. During this nationwide event, BISSELL Pet Foundation will sponsor reduced adoption fees for $25!
FRED SPCA PARTICIPATION DETAILS: Please visit fredspca.org/adopt to check out the adoption process, apply for animals in foster care, or make an appointment for a private matchmaking session. Applications must be in no later than Oct 9. For Empty the Shelters, animals 7 months and older will have a reduced fee of just $25 (plus a $10 microchip processing fee).
ANIMALS LISTED IN FOSTER: Applications for animals in foster care will be processed online with a virtual or in-person meet and greet. Apply immediately at fredspca.org/adopt. Please allow 24 – 72 hours for a response. Email [email protected] with any questions.
ANIMALS LISTED AT THE SPCA: We are accepting appointments for one-on-one sessions with our Matchmakers to view animals at the facility. (limited spots – act fast!) *Please note, these appointments are for available animals at the facility and we cannot guarantee specific animals will be available by the time of your appointment*
